The Oppressive Pig Award

I've decided to create a new award/title/whatever and give it a clever name. I actually came up with it when I was googling the picture for the post before this one.

Since this is titled The Porker Blog, I thought putting a mean pig picture on the story below would be appropriate. So I Googled "Oppresive Pig" and thought, "Hey, that's pretty good." and sort of wished I'd come up with that as my blog name instead....The Oppressive Pig.    (Don't ask how I came up with the Porker Blog. It just sounded like a good idea as I was walking across my kitchen floor. Then BOOM, it was done.)

THEN I thought instead, I would just pick a celeb of the week and give them the title with a goal of not awarding the same person twice....no matter how easy people like Michael Moore make it. He's not the winner today, but I am sure he will be in the very near future and in short order.

No, for this week's winner, my pick is Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Really folks, after this interview how can it be anything but a slam dunk?

Mr. "We-Should-Infringe-On-Your-Freedom" Bloomberg is nothing but an Oppressive Pig whose only way to govern comes in the form of oppression.

I was reading a post over at Breitbart and stumbled upon this article. Denied: Gun Store Owner Refuses to Hand AR-15 Over To Mark Kelly.

I get the impression this is something that has been being disscussed at length lately, but admittedly, I have been flying under the rader when it comes to news. I'm a student and have been feeling a bit overwhelmed in this, the second half of my semester. Anyway, I'm not up on it.

( e.n. Ah...yes, Mark Kelly, hubster to Gabrielle Giffords and his gun purchase. I did read about him, I just wasn't making a connection pre-coffee this morning. His daughter's dog killed a baby sea lion? Cripes, what's the world coming to when dogs act like dogs? )

I usually peruse the comments after articles like this, just to get a feel of the readers themselves. At Brietbart, you can pretty much count the majority of readers and commenters are going to be leaning right.

However, the following comment sums up perfectly, in a paragraph, exactly what the left's motivations are. I had to share it.

Ladies and gentlemen, that is the exact truth. This is probably the most profound and spot-on summary I have seen all year....meaning the last 12 months.

Think on it. Absorb it. Ponder it's meaning. Then take a good, long and hard look at exactly the kind of things the left is trying to push on us by telling us it's for our own good, for our safety, for our protection. And then when we won't buy it for ourselves, they start using their agenda as a means to "protect" our children.

Now, We Study Drunk Lesbians Too!

As if a study to find why lesbians are fatter than their gay male counterparts wasn't enough to give proper homage to the victimized group, NOW  we are funding a study through the University of Illinois to find out what lesbians tend to be "hazardous drinkers."

"The University of Illinois has received grants since 2009 for its project, "Cumulative Stress and Hazardous Drinking in a Community of Adult Lesbians," which aims to develop “culturally sensitive” strategies to prevent lesbians from being drunks."

And this tidbit:

“We propose to build on and extend our study of sexual identity and drinking… to model effects of cumulative stress on hazardous drinking among lesbians.”

Sigh.

I wonder if either of these studies are going to explore the very real possibility that probably the majority of lesbians, whether drunk or fat,  were abused by men at young ages.  I seriously doubt that ANYONE would be surprised if most were sexually abused, as well as/or  physically, emotionally, spiritually and verbally by significant males in their youth.

How about a study on THAT???

Oh no, we can't get to the root of WHY a woman may be a lesbian (or fat, or drunk) other than to say she was born one, because that would deviate from an agenda where we can FURTHER victimize women by telling them we're on their side when we really just want to use them to get money.

That isn't to say that I think all homosexuals choose their orientation, but some do. To deny that is intellectually dishonest.

Oh...and no need for anyone to keep sticking it to Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion organiziations, for not reporting to authorities when they have been told by 14 year old teens in for abortions or birth control, that their partners are 30 year old men. If PP actually reported that, there might be some valuable data that would be useful in the aformentioned two studies.

But let's not let any facts confuse the agenda.

Maybe there's a study somewhere that studies how the federal government whores women for the price of more goverment oppression.

Ladies, why do we let the government do this to us? They're full of shit and we just keep letting them feed it to us.

Ex Secret Service Member Taunts Obama..."Liar, Liar Pants On Fire!"

Ex Secret Service Agent claims that Obama is not telling the truth when he blames the Secret Service as being responsible for the ceasing of tours at the White House.

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino told Breitbart News that President Barack Obama was lying when he blamed the cancellation of White House tours on his former agency.
“The president’s absolutely not telling the truth when he said the Secret Service made that decision to cut [the White House] tours,” Bongino said. “That’s the core of it: he is not telling the truth.”

Bingo.

Everyone KNOWS Obama is lying....yet he keeps opening his mouth.

He wants Americans to feel the pain and inconveinence and deprivation when Republicans refuse to bow down to his every whim, but do not expect this president to sacrifice one damn thing for the American people. Not one. He's going to golf and go on vacay and campaign and do whatever the hell he wants, but don't you dare think he should cut back...because he'd the President and can do whatever he wants at our expense.

"But I should be clear that there’s not an option here to reopen the White House tours in general here because, again, that’s not an option because of the sequester cuts. These are labor intensive operations that require thousands of man hours by the Secret Service, and the decision was made that given the unhappy set of choices sequester presented to the Secret Service, that this was the best option.”

I would pay money to see someone punch Jay Carney in his big, fat, pie-hole.

Maybe we can sell raffle tickets for such an event and THAT will keep the tours open.

Nevermind that a number of people have come forward and offered to pay the costs for a week of White House tours....Sean Hannity, Donald Trump, Erc Bolling...all of them conservatives, by the way.

Not that I am surprised that Michael Moore hasn't offered, he's too busy pushing for the release to the public of the photographs of murdered children from Sandy Hook in an attempt to stick it to the NRA.

Honest to God, the absurdity in this is so absurd that it almost makes sense.

Every single goverment agency is having to figure out ways to make cuts to their budgets, which are actually bigger than they were this time last year, by making those cuts as visible and painful as possible. Yet, we have the Transposrtation secretary, Ray LaHood, getting letters from members of Congress, informing him that they are "deeply troubled by the prospects of subsidizing another costly, wasteful and risky high-speed rail project, particularly when our nation is facing a debt crisis that threatens the well-being of the current and future generations of Americans."

Okay, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I canNOT POSSIBLY be alone in thinking that this is a seriously major DUH!!!!

The Labor Department is seriously considering a high speed rail project between the cities of Victoville California and Las Vegas Nevada in an attempt to reduce the congestion on I-15 between those two cities. Thing is that Victorville is is 84.6 miles from Los Angeles, which takes approximately 1 hour and 23 minutes to travel by car IF you don't hit traffic.

Being a Montanan and living in the 4th largest state in the country, 84.6 miles on the Interstate is really no big whoop and I fail to see how the remaining 182.5 from Victorville to Las Vegas is going to be anymore of a burden to travel in the car I would have driven to get to Victorville. Especially, when taking the super-duper high speed train is going to cost me an estimated $89 smackers for each person in my vehicle. And don't forget the cost of parking my vehicle in the pay per spot parking lot which I am SURE will be built in addition to the super duper fast train. The gas would be cheaper for the 182.5 mile drive than a ticket and then I have the conveinence of my own transportation in Vegas.

If I-15 is so congested between those two points, then perhaps the less costly thing would be to fund the widening of I-15.

Besides which, there is already a train route between the two points...and it's the most lucrative route for Amtrack in the country. A ticket for one person....FROM LOS ANGELES and NOT Victorville is $55 with Amtrack right now.

So not only is the government considering funding 80% of this boondoggle, they are considering cutting off 82.5 miles from the present route and charging another $34 for the pleasure.

Does anyone in Washington sit down and simply pencil things out before opening their stupid mouths?

Seven Feet, Two Point Five Inches of Pigginess

Michelle Malkin has the blog post The Paper Skyscraper over on her blog to illustrate the ridiculousness of the the Affordable Healthcare Act ...so far. Twenty thousand pages, seven feet , two point 5 inches (7' 2.5") as it stands now with 828 pages added to this monstrosity last Friday.

The best comment about that, that I have read so far, was the question, "Yeah, but can it dunk?"

But wait, there's more.

Apparently, we were promised that getting healthcare through THE ACT would be a fairly simple process. I don't remember ever hearing that, but there are people who thought that it would be so. To them I say, "HahahahahahahahaahaHA!!!! When will you learn that NOTHING the government sticks it's nose into is EVER EVER EVER easy.

However, I digress.

Now, the newest information is that applying for all this "free" healthcare is going to be as simple as filing your tax return.

Bwhahahahahahahaha!

Suckers.....you people who fell for the idea of "free" healthcare are SUCKERS, I tell you.

The Affordable Healthcare Act is going to be the stuff that just keeps on taking....and taking....and taking. Not only is our money less ours, so is our time, apparently.

So much so, that 1.5 million dollars have been doled out in the form of grants since  2011 to study the problem of fat lesbians.

The question is, "Why are 3/4 of lesbians obese when gay men tend to be on the skinny side?"

My husband declares often that he's a lesbian, yet he can't keep an ounce of fat on his frame. He's as skinny as a rail. Now I realize that is purely andectodal, but perhaps we need to be asking why so many gay men are skinny. Are they in fact closet lesbians?

The question should be complex enough to get some more money, that we don't have, thrown at it.

In all seriousness though, am I the only one who thinks this is nothing more than a not-so-veiled-way to misappropriate government funds to gay and lesbian causes via the buzzword "study?"

But make sure the public can't tour the government buildings they pay for. Yes, the pressing issues of the obese lesbians are far too important than a bunch of 6th graders who have spent since September planned a trip to D.C. centered around a White House tour.
